The last three months have been very stressful for me and I don’t handle stress well. My go-to relaxation method is junk food and binge watching. This means I get very little done during those few times I can concentrate. So, the books I was hoping to put out in September and October are now scheduled to be releases December first.
This is the Thanksgiving weekend around and since we are all packed up to move, I didn’t think I would get turkey dinner this year. Most of the kitchen has been put into boxes and no one wants leftovers that are likely to be thrown out. This makes for a downer weekend because the stress in up and celebrating is unlikely. However, someone has offered to let us crash their family dinner as long as we bring homemade pumpkin pie.
So, this year I am thankful for these people who are opening their home. I am thankful for the roof over my head. I am thankful for my ability to write novels and get them published. I am thankful for the books available to me. And I am thankful for my parents who put up with everything. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving.
